    Well reverting didn't get things running for me, so I reinstalled the game and now it works almost like 1.1

    My CPU usage is drastically increased !

    I7 7700k
    GTX 1070
    8 GO
    SSD

    Can't get better than 45 FPS on very low settings and 300 troops count. FPS on campaign map doesn't exceed 60, while the GPU and CPU usage reach an outstanding 22%.
    I've seen a battle with 10 FPS and GPU usage at 1%.

    I've also noticed since the update the loading time seems to have quadrupled.

    The guide is outdated and there are many more companions now. You'll find at least 2 companions wich are good steward: the Swift and the Spicevender.

    But maybe a fresh game is needed for them to appear ?

    I'm looking for them since the release too, as Kerns are part ofd the battanian lore. But unfortunately I've not seen any in about 150h of gameplay. I'm gussing they are not implemented yet, but TW just updated their stats in beta branch.

    Same problem here, I send a messenger with 8000 peningas  and the poor lad got killed. Eversince the option is not available in the menu.

    I can provide a save game if needed. I started a King campaign.

    HI !

    I'd love to test your submod compilation. I'm a big fan of what TML did, the only thing I dislike is the battle mechanics, no more formation fighting, only charging, damn my britons are getting wrecked ^^. SO I was wondering if it was possible to change it back to vanilla Brytenwalda, if you ever wanted to do it, or, better, if you had already done it ?

    Game mechanics require there be a balance between castles towns and villages; Most if not all of the settlements on the map were really towns but they were downgraded for gameplay reasons. There's a set of criteria for what will appear as town, castle or village, and the person who did the research for France would be best qualified to tell you why Le Mans is a village.

    As for doing it yourself, this is one of those things that's not so easy to do.

    I know about the balance, I don't want to make a city of Le Mans, just make it the castle and Beaumont the village (despite Beaumont's castle still stand proud on his rock ^^). Just a switch is all I ask  (though I don't know how difficult it is to do it).

    I don't want to have stat boost with it, just the abiliti to cheer with my men when the battle is lost ^^

    (Although Battlecries in Brytenwalda are pretty balanced)
