Fire Burning time?

Hi,
Is there any way to make the fire burn longer?
It takes app. 2-3 seconds to go out, which is rather short if i toss it on some wooden buildings. (i use maximum amount of everything fire related/graphicsrelated)

Pfft fire doesnt even work for me, which makes the mod pretty useless.

yes, makes it seem quite useless.
But still, is there any way to make the fire burn longer?
