I guess it could be fun if the game would give certain honorary titles to the player after the battle. Like if you kill a lot of people you get some name or if you suffer a lot of casualties etc. Of course most of these would be hard to achieve and wouldn't really matter, but could come up in discussions sometimes.

knowing that you have a tendency to catch arrows with your head will inform you that you need to duck better :)

i'd like some actual info on what troops fought like. For example, archers could do a lot of damage to different troops, but only enough to kill a few. Then when your infantry or cavelry engages and they drop like flies, you'll think they are great and archers suck

during battle, some indication of the total number of enemies left would be nice. I often wonder in sieges how many more i have to kill


If you press backspace in a battle it will show you a mini-map, your unit commands and number of units for you, allies & enemies.

However, I agree with you as I always bring up that menu only to be one-shotted in the face during a seige-tower seige.
