Would you like to see Highlander's kingdom management in next version? For those who don't know what I'm talking about, please visit this thread:

It wouldn't change anything for those of us who wish to follow the real, existing factions, right? If so, I don't mind, you can totally have it. In fact, use it, as more publicity = more people following the mod = better motivated developers = more chances it won't get abandoned early = better quality finished dark age britain mod = I'll be happier.

I vote yes, but I won't use it much.

Allright, then I am starting adding Berserker Pride system:

Ok, I've implemented Highlander's version of kingdom management.

As we can select the culture of our kingdom (if we choose for example Brythonic culture, we can recruit Brythonic soldiers/Dal Riadan culture - Dal Riadan troops etc.), it opens many possiblities for us. We can have a lot of cultures, though they are not possesing any towns or castles on the mod's map. Player can even lead Byzantine or Visigothic faction, if he fancy. Suggest what cultures would you like to see. Try to don't limit yourself!  And also give suggestions for troops of these cultures.

The current cultures are:

- Brythonic
- Dal Riadan
- Pictish
- Bernician
- Ui Neill (suggestions for troops are open)

My suggestions for new cultures:

- Irish kingdoms: Laighin, Mumainha.
- Dumnonia (very romanised cavalry/infantry)
- Gwynedd (mountain horsemen/huntsmen/some gaelic troops)
- Northern Picts (very savage warriors/berserkers or fanatics)
- Scyldingas

It would be very interesting to have wide range of new cultures.

Dumnonia won't be really romanised by 580 AD. It could get a selection of Breton and eventually Frankish mercenaries, otherwise it will be mostly like the other brittonic factions with a supposed emphasis on cavalry.
Dyfed could also be a mixed gaelic-brittonic faction.

Other germanic kingdoms like Mercia, East Anglia, Wessex or Kent would be interesting aswell.
