Does this error repeat? I've had this error once but not recurring.

yea repeats. I cant pass the battles with casca and gutts that are after grifith capture.
and if not this error i get vertex buffer.
but i put my game to dx7 and lowered all i could do.
But idk why i got awsome pc core i 7 quad 2.6 ghz, 6 GB DDR3, Nvidia GTX 275 896 MB, but I have Vista ultimate ---> need to put win 7

Maybe try running as administrator? I honestly can't tell you the exact problem. I'm glad my current computer has xp instead of vista.

I found that installing M&B, especially the mods, into your User folder bypasses all the problems with Vista.
i.e. C:\Users\THRAKKEMARN\Games\Mount&Blade
i.e. C:\Users\THRAKKEMARN\Games\Mount&Blade
