Hi
Some news:
I will probably release this thing next weekend.
It will be TEST release.
Collision bug will be still there, so I will just remove all collision from trees/rocks.
I have no control how trees are generated on steppes, so for some time steppes will be full of trees.
Maybe I will be able to make them proper steppes later.
And also test version will be something like "benchmark" - now I care mostly about making this look good, Later I will optimize it.
And also lot of village/castle scenes will need tweaking.
But it will be test version, as mentioned.

Well, for one thing, I can say the map looks more realistic from the screens...Hopefully my "crate" would run this with more than 30 fps...Thanks G. It's always good the get an earlier-than-expected (even though a test) release.

I just came out of the darkness of lurkerland and I must say, this is just

AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING! Can't wait for the beta! Really a work of art.

I hope that the polycount of your trees is not too big otherwise some may have hard time handelgin forests.

I personally cannot handle more than 150 units with AA2 in a forest, otherwise it just have less than 20 fps.
