Nice. I suppose Massalia will be a nice change as it's an interesting mix of two cultures.

Didn't they fight in Phalanx formation?

Hey ealabor, do you have some screen of the Macedonian troops? That will be nice to see.

Other question: ¿The materials of the armors have specular map or envmap_shader with earthenvmap?, That is a great improvement over bronce armors ;)

I believe none of them were slingers, only whatever-you-call-javelins-in-the-language-of-Massalian throwers. Hehe... slingers.

I only saw one javelin-thingy in flight in that picture. What did he "do thar"? The javelin-thingies' textures?

Actually, there are slingers in that picture.  And 'sphendonetai' is the Greek term for slingers.  Don't ask me what the literal meaning of the word is though.  And if you didn't see them, have a look at the guys in the 10th and 11th pics.  I think there is at least one in the 3rd pic as well.  There might be more that I missed.   They are carrying what look remarkably like slings to me...

sphendone = "sling", so sphendonetai quite literally does mean "slingers"

Thanks SwissHalberdier.  My Greek is utterly woeful.  Short of military terms (with the exception of "sphendone" apparently)  my Greek extends as far as being able to say "the boat is in Byzantion" and "oh dear".
