actually that binoculars script was developed by us together in some old thread. I think L shift is good enough, so I didnt use that binoculars effect.Aerid Thongar said:William, I have a suggestion for implementation. You have an amazing mod by the way, with its weapons and the huge amount of custom scripts. However, you could add some more items. I was running across a big snowy plain on a new character earlier today, when I had a thought. Why can't I see further? Maybe you could add binoculars? As an item? HokieBT has this in his Starwars Conquest Mod. If you speak to him, you might be able to get the script. Its not an item that is seen visually in the scenes, rather, its just a way of zooming in more. You could use the script to zoom, then add some form of mask over the screen, so that whats visible is what you'd see through the eyes of the Binoculars. maybe you could implement some more items like this? A few different ones, at a reasonably high price, maybe a custom vendor to go with it. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to script it myself, I can do audio, and the odd bit of artwork, but not coding. But if you need sounds or anything, just ask.
about the sound, I do need help, I dont want to use sound from other games all the time, but I dont know how to create new sound effects. what can you do? you can start a new thread to talk about the sound. this thread is for answering the questions only.
