Hmmm that is quite a good question actually. I think it may just be a MP beta but then again not sure. Since the beta wasn't solely refered to as an MP beta I can only assume it is the full thing, both MP/SP that is.

EDIT:
The Beta thread just refers to just the servers opening. I guess the beta is only MP then.
 
I think for now they want to work out the problems with multi-player as it is a large part of why Warband was created. To feed to need for multi-player.
In later stages they may allow single-player to be an option.
 
I have a few questions reguarding warband

will it include a new single player version as well?

Will there be an option to play the regular game, with two or three people on a local network when all players are logged on?

Have you read anything about Warband? Multiplayer games will be played in a Battlefield with each player controlling their own unit and they can purchase upgrades for themselves based on kills and such.

Well they said they will chose over the next few weeks  and its only been about 6 days.
