I've changed my mind. The best way to lose weight is to have an inordinately fast metabolism. Myself, for example. I've gone for a week eating Ramen noodles with Dr. Pepper at least once a day, and have actually lost weight, since I haven't been working out as much...not having it to begin with is easily the best way.

Ramen noodles once a day?!? OMG you're a god! Spam and beans is better college food, plus you can cook spam on an iron. You also need to be careful with that fast metabolism, if your eating habbits aren't good now, they won't get any better when your metabolism drops like a brick. Congratulations on being future-fat.

Ramens mean you are POOR, and losing weight anyhow.
Cheap though ramen may be, it is delicious. And nobody can deny that.

You also need to be careful with that fast metabolism, if your eating habbits aren't good now, they won't get any better when your metabolism drops like a brick. Congratulations on being future-fat.

A soda a day is bad and well not everyone has a fast metabolism. Another good way to lose weight is to just drink water and run either everyday or every other day is a good way to lose weight and you can eat anything you like.

Yes, yes you can eat anything you want I wouldn't know this from experience but I've got friends that eat a crap load of food and yet all they do is run everyday and workout.

And their metabolism is probably pretty good. If you're trying to lose weight effectively, you can't rely on metabolism you don't have. Eating healthy is the most important part.

No they don't have a good metabolism. You can burn alot of fat from just running.

It's true. I eat as much food as a small pony, and not all of it is healthy, yet still somehow manage to be rail thin.

That's what running and lifting weights does.


EDIT: However, I have not ran in several days due to an injury and am already noticing some additional fat, so the small pony diet is not sustainable without serious workouts every day, or at least most days.
I'm so fat and disgusting, even my teachers laugh when I waddle into class.

I want to end my pathetic, sedentary life with a shard of glass.

Thin and popular kids will die.

If you're young, and working out, it can be difficult to gain enough weight to make a difference. Hayabusa isn't trying to lose weight, he's maintaining it. If you're overweight, what you eat is critical. Just running won't cut it. I know when people are eating well at the place I work out because those are the people who consistently lose weight. The ones that don't still push themselves at workout, but when asked about their eating, they admit they haven't been following the plan. Eating well, when you're trying to lose weight, is the most critical part.

Eat properly and you'll lose weight. Exercise a lot and you'll get fit. Exercise a lot, but eat crap, and you'll be strong and fat. Sumo wrestlers are amazing athletes but man are they ******** fat (on purpose, they stuff themselves full of white carbs).
