sounds good, anyone know if you'll need the origanal to play this as you would with any other expansion, i know some people that would probably play this game online, but won't play the game itself

Well, no, but I will update this thread as we get more information. This is just a list of everything we know so far.

I really can't wait.

M&B has been the only (non-nintendo-DS) game I've played since it was officially release. However, I don't have much time for gaming anyway, so take this for what it's worth

Don't forget to add this game presentation from earlier this year:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K16bIpGnd1o

There's also an entry here:
http://www.moddb.com/games/mount-blade/news/mountblade-multiplayer-expansion
Specifically:
1) Formations: you'll be able to form lines deeper than two.
2) Morale will affect battles more and your soldiers and enemies will run away when broken.
3) It'll be more difficult to keep soldiers from an enemy faction. For example, if you are a Vaegir and you keep raiding Swadian villages, swadian troops in your party will be more likely to desert and your party morale will be reduced.

And of course, here's the link containing all of the newest screenshots.

Will add

On a side note: Everyone is telling Clayton to shut up in the comments on that video

here's a good source:http://translate.google.com.au/translate?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jeuxvideo.com%2Fnews%2F2009%2F00034553-e3-2009-images-de-mount-blade-warband.htm&sl=fr&tl=en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8

Things I think you missed:

-completely new faction
-possibility of marriage to a lady
-new units for existing factions (swadian mounted crossbowman, vaegir spearman)
-ability to pick up thrown weapons and re-use them.

You could also mention the Q3 2009 release and include some quotes and comments from armagan on the forums.

I keep saying we should have a new sub-forum specifically for Warband discussions, and I'd say this should be stickied there.

Dude, when did this news of 64 player ability come about? I thought it was 32, but Taleworlds is really fulfilling expectation.

HOOAH! GO ARMAGAN!

(Edit 13 June)..........I just watched the E3 trailer footage.....
The Nords have Calvary now!

You forgot to mention the implementation of formations.

The only thing that I have missed out. Thanks for the heads up. Everything else that people have told me to add is in there. It might be in the paragrah below the list.
