Nikolaj,

I had that issue too, mainly happened on castle sieges and almost always with a town siege. I was using the battle sizer everything on max, knocked off rags completely and armies set to 200, not had it happen since. Although saying that I have not been at the point of fighting such large battles since.

The recommendations I was given if the issue persisted is to do a fresh install of M&B add on only what you need to and if it happens again it is most likely an issue with you gcard. Tho saying that only ever had the problem with mods not the vanilla game.

Hope it helps and if not at least you know your not alone...

Thanks guys. I tried lowering the rag dolls and bodies, and that helped. I guess I'll be lowering them each time I try to take a city, and then put them back on unlimited afterwards.

I use battle sizer set to 200-250, minimal ragdolls and bodies,  and all is OK with POP, but if I go to 300 or above, the game gets wonky.

I have a problem that when I enter tournaments, I don't come in with full heath and it doesn't seem to heal when I go to the next round either. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what.
If I enter the tournament at 25% health, I will have 25% at the beginning of every round or what?  :?:

Yup.  That is the same as Native.  You have your actual health in tournaments.  If you go in wounded, you'll be wounded each round.

To clarify, you'll heal between rounds, but only up to the point of health you had when entering the tournament.

I've noticed two strange things, and I'm not sure if they're intentional or not, but here goes:

1) After I founded my kingdom, I'm having issues with joining battles. It seems that when I join a side that already has multiple armies, the numbers that show up on the battle screen (the one where you choose whether to fight, autoresolve, etc.) are way too low. I think that it only counts the soldiers in the first allied army plus your own. I think that the soldiers who aren't counted on the battle screen are still in the battle, but they're not counted for battle advantage (and probably not for renown). I know I'm saying "I think" a lot, but I'm not really sure what's going on, only that I'm often told that I only have 150 soldiers on my side, when I should have 300. This didn't happen before I became a king.

2) I helped a band of outlaws who were fighting my arch-enemy, the empire, which made my relationship with the bandit faction go up to -1 (maybe 0, not sure). Anyway, all outlaws, bandits and raiders on the map attack me on sight, even though I often outnumber them ten to one, and all my troops are top tier, which is annoying. Again, I'm not sure if this is intentional, but it seems odd.

1) Sometimes working odd but most likely half the Lords you joined were disliking you. And since you´re a really despicable fellow, the just left the fray.

2) It is intentional. Helping anyone will raise your relation with them and lower your relation with the opponent. Makes sense, right. Native doesn´t do that and it´s rather stupid. Because if A likes you for helping, B should start hating you. Which is what you experienced. Be careful whom you join and help, one or two unwise pickings may raise your positive relations so high you won´t be able to attack a faction anymore - or worse, if it still gets higher, you won´t even be able to join in a battle against them.

Does that mean then that it would be possible to bring the game to a stalemate, where you were unable to attack anyone (being the five major factions) forcing a re-start ?

If that is the case then shouldn't there be a way to say "greatly offend" the nations so this can be avoided and you can still take lands etc...

If not then just ignore me :)

Nope.  That actually WAS a possibility in earlier builds, but it has been taken care of now.  Major factions can always be assaulted, as if they like you too much, you can just sack a caravan or 6.  Minor factions were the real problem, because if you helped K'Juda one too many times he started liking you, which meant you couldn't attack him and thus couldn't win the game.

It is set now so that periodically, the relations of the minor factions to the player are reset.  That way you can help whoever to fight whoever and still win.:D

1.  While that may be perfectly true, the whole "Less numbers showing up in the fight, and always on MY side.." bit is a known bug from Native.  Pain in the ass.

2.  While the relational change is intentional, the suicidal bandit parties are not.  At least, I don't think so.  And they ARE annoying.  I've had a siege interrupted 4 times by parties of <10 bandits...  bastards have a death-wish.

Alright, so the first thing is a bug. I have to say, though, that I didn't notice it happening at all when I was just a mercenary. It wasn't untill I became a king that it started happening (I think).

And yeah, the suicidal bandits are extremely annoying. The relationship change makes sense, though, and seems to work with other factions, without them resorting to kamikaze techniques.

Thanks for the replies, guys. :)

After I conquer a new castle/town it's bound villages often show up as "belongs to no one" so I just can't manage the village,

this question has be risen a couple of times so far:

a) it may take some time but finally those villages will come over to you. takes quite some time, though.
b) once you got your first vassal, you can talk to your steward and give the fiefs to yourself, or your underling
c) this is worked on

First of all I love this mod thank you for all the hardwork from the development, design and testing teams.  I am playing ver 2.0 and thoroughly enjoying it. I do not want to upgrade and lose my save game at this point. But have several villlages that have not switched ownership. I understand that I can get around this with my first vassal but how do I get them? I have 1000 renown 30 honor and several relationships with a rating of 30. Cna anyone give me a hint please

We're glad you're enjoying it, LaPointes007!

As to your questions, try looking here.

PS:  Additional routines have been added into 2.02 to help fix that issue.  It isn't perfect, but it is better.  While I understand not wanting to lose your progress, we are not officially supporting anything prior to 2.02 due to the incredible amount of bug-fix that has been done since 2.0 went public.
