The Unification of the Highland Clans
In 1587, a relatively small Clan's leader has grown gravely ill, his son, Edward Glen, takes control with great ambitions in mind. Tired of fighting the other Clans of the Highlands and the occasional border reiver or bandit, instead Edward wants to unify the Clans and drive the bandits from their lands. Yet, this will not be easy, as the Clans have fought for so long they refuse to even speak in the company of anyone not of their Clan and they will need one anothers help to successfully rid themselves of the firmly rooted bandits. Edward decides to try and get support from the other clans by aiding them each in fighting whichever group of bandits pester them. This would seem an easy task to some as they are accustomed to the bandits of the realm of Calradia, mostly looters and the occasional mildly equipped forest, mountain, or steppe bandit. The bandits of the Highlands, however, could be considered more of armies lead by powerful Warlords. These shall be the chronicles of Edward's hardships as he brings the Clans together. (This last part is more like, OK, I'm done writing for today, I'll come up with more later)
