Unzip into TPW's folder.

This is intended to fix the "battle with 0 soldiers" bug and add some lods by WilliamBerne, also some minor corrections like bash frequency and sound. Bodyguards can now be recruited in taverns, and armors should be easier to loot.

Let me know if the problems persist.

The crashes should be reduced because of the models' lower impact on M&B's engine. The next patch will include lower resolution textures to ease it up a bit more.

Edit:OK,the battle problem is fixed.No more 0 troops fighting as far as I can tell.I had saved the game next to a seige with 2000 soldiers as attackers and and 0 as defenders.It was stuck there for days,but once I put up  the new files,the castle belonged to the victors at last.
The shield bash.They use it less,but you can still bash friendlies.Its not a big problem anymore since it rarely happens.
Also the armor loot is working as well. I havent checked the rest.

I dont know about the crashes because i didnt experience any in the previous version.

Alll CTDs gone.  Didn't even change my specs, battle size = 150. 

All bugs are gone (the missing unit script, the 0 popoulation battles).

Good to know. I'm working on an optimum performance texture pack at the moment, with smaller textures for the other folks with the crashes. This pack should go easy enough on M&B's engine to stop those damn CTDs. People with low end machines are still advised to tweak down their video settings, nonetheless.

I find that just turning off the shadows helps unbelievably.

I got no CTD while fighting... but got one while just want to start a battle... 

I set my battle sizer to 100 and use no shadow either..

i use nvdia 9800 GT and 3 gb RAM... going to test it again..

Try disabling corpses and ragdolls so the impact won't be so heavy, if you haven't done it already. The performance texture pack will be uploaded soon.

Yeah, I find that I can double my battle-size without corpses.  Ragdolls are just too funny to get rid of.  Especially in sieges

Yeah, i have set them to 5... I think because of my HDR lol...
