Functional, yeah. Repetitive visuals? Quests, yes, but visuals? And the lack of spectacle...  since the game sets out to be more realistic than fantastic, the medieval Eurasia-ish setting is spectacular enough, dammit. The lack of Minas Tirith or Moria-like locations reinforces the realism. :?

Why would that effect the score?

they're biased against paradox?
