okay I'm new to M&B and I'm just a little confused about why all these amazing mods arn't being ported to 1.003.

I heard it's something about waiting on the developers to release the 1.003 module?

Also are these major mod authors "dead" or are they actually intending to port their mods to the latest 1.003 version?

We can't do anything without Module System for 1.003. So you must be patient.

In order to port their mods, they are waiting for armagan to release what is called the module system. Most large mods will be ported to 1.0, yes.

Most of the major mod authors are indeed dead, and I intend to get around to the rest once my Visa gets approved.

It just means that v 1.003 is not stable enough and well get a bug fix with the mod system
