This has been such a wonderful ride and so many thanks are in order. If you'll excuse me, I want to start with my dear wife Ipek, the first artist I had the pleasure of working with, the sunshine of my life, without whose determination and hard work and wonderful courage this project would never start in the first place.

I would also like to thank our dear team at Taleworlds offices, Ozgur, Cem, Pinar, Mustafa, Umit, and Serdar who have worked on the game with great enthusiasm and creativity, each bringing in their great talents and hard work into turning a humble indie game into a professional production. And many thanks to all the other wonderfully gifted people who have directly contributed to the game, Steve Negus, who masterfully wrote and designed all the different lord commentaries, richly characterized companions and claim holder rebellions, Ryan A. Span who again did a wonderful job, turning my amateurish lines into an excellent game dialog and text. We have had the great fortune of having the game's concept art made by a genius of an artist, Ganbad Badamkhand, and then our stroke of luck went further when another genius in his field, Jesse Hopkins, composed the brilliant sound track. Tassilo Egloffstein and Jade Henderson did the top-notch voice work. Then of course, we had all the creative ideas, and wonderful support from this community, so thank you all, our always so fun and witty administrators and moderators who give these forums its unique character, the brilliant community of modders, and of course everyone else who have contributed to these forums and supported this game. And last but no least, I want to thank our dear partners at Paradox Interactıve, Boel, Fredrik, Susana, Simon, Johan, Theo, Jeanette and all the team there for their friendship and for believing in us and our project and for all the help they gave us in realizing it..

And now, without further ado, and with great pleasure, I present you Mount&Blade 1.0x, the final release of our little indie game, which I believe, we made happen all together...

Edit: Since Version 1.011 is out now, I'll just update this thread instead of starting a new one.

Compatibility:
Version 1.011 should be savegame compatible with version 1.003. It is not compatible with save-games created with 1.010.

Version 1.011 Upgrade patch (11.52MB):
This will upgrade version 1.000 and above to version 1.011.
Note: if you are using version 1.010 (including the Steam version),
you should NOT try to update to 1.011. The only difference is improved compatibility with older v1.0-v1.003 savegames, while savegames between 1.010 and 1.011 are NOT compatible.

All i can say is its been a great pleasure to be a part of seeing M&B grow.

It kinda makes me sad to see the end of the beta, i have become quite attached to the community, the game development and so on, so it is a bittersweet feeling i have now that the full game is released, but none the less it is to be celebrated.

Armagan, Ipek and the rest of the team, great job and i hope that you will all keep working on Mount & Blade either a sequel or a expansions.

EDIT : Had to add something to my message.

Congratulations and thanks for all the hours you guys have put in for this "little" indie game that so many of us love!

I've been playing since the day .808 came out, I was sold after the tutorial!

I don't know how much of a right I have to say this, but:

Armagan, and everyone, it has truly been an amazing ride. I arrived here back in .808 when someone showed me the 300 Mod, and I joined the forum, and bought the game within a half hour, and have loved it since. Well done Armagan and team, and well done to all contributors and modders out there.

Mount&Blade Forever.

Congratulations on the release and a game that is being called revolutionary.  Superb job.

Edit: doubt that you will look at this, but does the manual come with the install, or will it be released outside of the download, or do we have to buy it in the boxed version?

WOOHOO!! Praise to Armagan and to the rest of the team, you've done an awesome job lets hope your future projects are just as wonderful!

Amazing, I can hardly express my pleasure at seeing "this little indie game" released at last, except to say that M&B's success and popularity must be a vindication of it's development and distribution method everywhere.

Congratulations to the whole team.

Nice. Congratulations to Armagan and team for finishing such a wonderful game.

Fastest download I've ever gotten... I didn't realise my connection was capable of 970kb download speeds. I wonder if my ISP secretly upgraded me or something

Or maybe I'm just finally getting the full potential of my internet, since most of the other customers are still evacuated or without power (I live in the path of Hurricane Ike and only just got power back yesterday).

Congratulations Armagan, Ipek and the rest of the developement team! The final product is, and will continue to be the stuff of legends for a long time to come.

Now, to spend my whole weekend downloading it! *curses dial up*
