Aye, mogon's idea is good.
Another suggestion. the mod is set in a renaissance period, you should rename the towns into cities and the villages into towns. Although I'm not asking to change the looks entirely (that's very tedious), changing their statuses suggests that much has changed from the vanilla Calradia.
Another: I'm pretty sure that this is not a bug, so I included this here. When you join a battle that's already being fought. Your side, (allies to be exact) cannot form up ranks, while your enemies have the benefit of it. Sure you could form up your own troops, or if you become a marshal you could negate this problem. But if not (most of the time) your infantry will always be chewed up by an enemy formation, a mounted force or (as I have learned fighting them with the lion throne) bad-ass Vaegirs.
In the latter case, I joined Mondo's 100 force against Tsar Feodor's 180 force, I'm just a lone rider. From previous experiences, a formation of Lion throne troops will pawn vaegirs twice there numbers. But lo, to my dismay, the Soldiers of the radiant cross march in an undisciplined mob. Could you like, implement the ai to use formations when they see fit.
