This tells me, while extracting, if I want to replace the archive Thumbs.db for other wih the same name, but with different size. The existant is 5.120 and the new 8704.

Is in Spanish, but I think it can be understood.

There are bound to be a few bugs hidden round that have been missed.
If you do see any error messages displayed during gameplay then it should be located in the "rgl_log".
Open your rgl_log located in the Mount&Blade directory and post up the section which contains the error, just helps to locate where the error is occurring.

My Spanish is a little poor, so not to what the screenshot is showing.
Where are you trying to extract the module?

In the Modules folder, of course.

The screenshot says something like that:

The next file already exist
Star Wars Conquest 0.8\Thumbs.db

Do you wish to replace the existant file

5.120 bytes
modified the 2009/09/08 11:47

for this one?

8.704 bytes
modified the 2009/04/28 8:02

In the comprimed archive there's only one Thumbs.db

There is no music like was said earlier so if ur expierencing no music except for occassional SW theme an cantina, thats normal...
Okay, a lot of people have for some reason or another encountered this beautiful little error, and when i say beautiful and little I mean 'horrible' and really 'big'

a couple of things i found in 0.8

The Galactic Empire(which i am a part of) is only at war with the hutts and not the rebels, i can still besiege the rebels but none of my imperial buddys will attack any rebels.

I found a error message on a battle near Ryloth i can't remember the exact error message but it had something to do with the sceneobj desert, if you want i can look in the log to get the exact error message.

Two bugs I found are not so much bugs as coding issues..

Firstly, as said above, the permanent war between the rebels and the Empire still won't work... The Empire start off at war with Hutt Cartel, and that's the only war going on, I think.

Secondly, I don't know about the other factions because I've just been hanging around Hutt space, but the Hutts don't give a damn about pirates, jawas, Tuskens and the like. They don't attack them, and the pirates don't run away from them. It's just odd...

Apart from that, the mods immense fun still :) Though my ickle laptop doesn't like it.. I get an atrocious FPS.

It's ok, it's a windows file which is automatically generated to store data about thumbnails of your pictures/icons. You don't need it a all and you can ignore it.

Does anyone know how to add music to the game? I put all the music files in the music folder, I just have no idea what to edit in the music document to get them to actually play in game.

Minor Bug:  The texture for Mercenary Armour doesn't appear in-game, showing instead an all-white mesh (this armour's used a lot with pirates). Had a look at Geroj's BRF file and can't see why it's not working.  :?

ahh, that is because the wrong mesh is being used in item_kinds1.txt.    If people what to fix that they will need to open this file and switch jacket_closed_d to mercenary_armor.    I'll also update the zip file on the repository so people moving forward won't have this problem.

unfortunately I don't really have time now to respond to other comments.  I'll see if I can fix the permanent war for Empire vs Rebel in the next patch, or at least put in a trigger to make them start a war again if they stop....  Will try to respond to other comments later, but glad to hear everybody likes it so far.
