Thanks for registering it on ModDB. Good luck. Start small, and build from there.

I came...
twice

seriously though, if you could finish this before bethesda finishes FO3 I'd be set for the next few years as far as gaming goes...

god I can't wait for FO3, I know it's probably going to disappoint me but I don't care, I'll play it until my fingers wear to nubs and my eyes dry out and bleed, so the faster you finish this the faster that whole process can start

lol, sorry, but unless I get a really really great team, a full version wont be released by this fall.  It's not something that needs to be rushed.  The longer the better, because the longer it takes, more features can be created =).

Want to actually release a finished mod?

Then drop that line of thinking.

You need to be able to (or be willing to learn how to) do 95% of the work yourself. Members aren't going to stick their hands up and say 'Hey, sure, i'll work my fingers to the bone for your mod'. Sure, you may pick up a few contributers or maybe even a member who'll stick with you until release, but give up the bullshit notion of putting together a 'really great team' based on an idea or concept, because it isn't going to happen.

I've stated before that I'm learning how to do everything, and don't expect to get anyone who is really good until I get enough done to show that I'm not just going to set back and give commands, but that I will work as hard as I can, plus, Its not *MY* mod, it is the teams.  All i am is the fields that im good in and the Mod Leader.

Remember this; release early, and release often. If you frequently release updated versions of the mod, you will get more of a fanbase, and attract interest from people who have the skills to help you. Since you are a mod, you have the power to do that. You can release an alpha, get feedback, and incorporate it into your next version, which will make your mod better, and help give you the inspiration to continue.

Well, Hopfully soon some people who have much experiance with mods will show some intrest =p.  I don't have much of an artistic hand ability, so modeling is very hard for me.  I'm going to stick to mapping, coding, and I'll try texturing.  That really stinks because modeling is going to take more work than any other field.  Sooo, =D, we need modelers!  The sooner a modeler dedicates to the team, the sooner the Fallout world will stand out.  If you don't want to dedicate to this, but would like to spend a little bit of time, then its ok.  We could use all the models we can get!

Haha, this is awesome. About time someone did a mod like this. Are you aware of the "Vindicator" minigun from fallout 2? i've done a model of that a while ago, but it's in blender. And, it's at school. I'll see if i can dig it up. Hopefully it's still in their database. In case you don't know what it is, here's a pic:

Also, it's not finished. I've only done the barrels. and the battery pack. i still need to do the plate at the top, and the handles. Also, it's Friday where i live, so you'll have to wait a few days before i will be able to get back to you on whether it's been deleted or not.

I might contribute a few models in my spare time if I knew what you wanted and had pics.

Acutally in fallout, there are some real life weapons.

Such as a 9mm mauser pistol, and .45 Desert Eagle.
Here comes a Quail...YEHAW!

No. 'The River Pirates' are not a punk band. And you misunderstand me when I said I was 'going Clubbing'. Mount&Blade ~ Maw

You're going to piss yourself when you see my guy Quail. Havoc

You're a success, Quailman. Alenmare

This man is so great and possessed of style...Lyze

The best thing about Quail ... he is a good dancer, and sexes it up on the dance floor with chicks and posts pic of it here. Feragorn

Awesome. Yeah i know what the vindicator is.  Fallout was one of the first games I ever played for PC, and I've been playing it here and there since!  I've already had the desert eagle and the 9mm written down to have.
One of the big automatic guns that would be cool to have is, -bozar, without scope.
Armor that we need would be these
-the face and whole body would be needed, this would act as a character model so there can be extensions in size, etc.
Advanced and Regular Power armor is also something taht is going to be in

Then all the otehr armors except Telsa would be included.
As for more guns we would need a mix of handguns, Semi Automatic guns, Shotguns, and Energy weapons.
Does anyone know advanced coding that could make it 2 where guns could be automatic?
What ever you think is first priority feel free to do!  Also, if there are any good texture makers then we need Map textures.  A Desert wasteland and a foul water for rivers adn oceans.
As for character models and textures a Ghoul is second priority *mutant being first, if the armor thing works*.
