Greetings, Defenders.

There have been a lot of changes happening behind the scenes here on Full Invasion 2. In the past few weeks the team has grown exponentially, outdated articles have been fixed, and new screens have been popping up.

All this effort is leading to a very large update for Full Invasion 2 dedicated to fixing bugs, improving visuals and performance, sanding any rough edges, rebalancing items, and adding new content for you all to enjoy.

Welcome to Full Invasion 2: Amber

Amber is the first update to Full Invasion from the newly formed Wave 53 Studios. Don’t fear, the team is still comprised of members who have worked on Full Invasion for years. With the addition of talented new members from both professional and self-taught backgrounds, we have been able to craft a much better experience for the community to enjoy. Not only will Amber bring a new experience ingame, it will mark a new chapter of our involvement with the community.

For a long time we have wanted our work to be about more than just the download link. Every step of development we have done our best to listen to feedback from our community. Now, we are working to encourage everyone who plays Full Invasion 2 to become more active in the community.

Massive community events, giveaways, entertaining contests, and active user support will all come together to make the definitive multiplayer expansion for Warband.

Updates will be coming on a weekly basis, so keep your eyes here to ensure your the first to know about what’s new in Full Invasion 2.

For now, enjoy a few exclusive screens of what we have been working on in the past few days over on our ModDB page. More screenshots will come with every update covering various aspects of Full Invasion.

Please note: This is a copy&paste from the announcement from the ModDB page and Steamgroup, but because not everyone uses it, I placed it here.

Greetings, Defenders.

Today I come here to talk to you all about boxes... That's not usually the most interesting topic, but it's quite a large part of Full Invasion 2. We have decided to give them their own post so everyone is up to speed on the changes coming in Amber.

As always, if you have any questions put them in the comments below. I would also like to take this moment to direct your eyes to our ModDB, Screenshot of the Week Contest, and finally to Ashley's inbox for all your questions, suggestions, or general feedback on Full invasion 2.

You've all been here before - You've been saving up your money for what seems like countless waves. All you want is to spend it on something nice, maybe a legendary lightsaber or even a cool crossbow. You run over to the box and start digging inside for hidden treasure, but instead you pull out some random hat. Well, you've already got one, so you toss it over the shoulder and keep digging inside.

A club... An axe... A melon on a stick... Nothing too nice is coming up. At this point, you're bleeding the money you've fought so hard to earn. You beg to the gods of Full Invasion for salvation, for some heavenly breath of good fortune. Finally, a legendary weapon appears! All you have to do is pick it up and the power will be yours. With it in your steady hands you will dominate the leaderboard, demolish the invaders, and save your-

The weapon box just broke; you can't equip the weapon.

You step back slowly and survey the discarded weapons resting in the dirt around you. You let out a small helpless sigh of frustration before slogging back to the frontline.

Check our ModDB for exclusive screens of this update.

One of the first things we as a team tackled was fixing those damned boxes. No longer will there be random hats, no longer will the boxes break, and no longer will they be so littered in useless weapons. We've fixed the maps where the boxes were stuck in the terrain or just in terrible places, and we went through to fix the spawn rate of certain weapons to make everything more balanced.

We have also added a new wardrobe feature to the game. This works much like weapon boxes, but allows you to change your equipment without having to respawn first. All you have to do is change your equipment in the menu, activate the wardrobe, and if you have enough money your kit will be swapped out. This will finally allow players to climb from being an Ithilien Ranger all the way up to Sauron in one life.

Be sure to follow our ModDB to receive notifications immediately when there is new information about Full Invasion 2.

Feel free to spread the word ingame about this post and let everyone know about the changes coming to Full Invasion 2. Direct their eyes here to ModDB then jump on the Official Server yourself and we'll have some fun. I will be on the server as much as possible this weekend (Dev_TrotsTwats), so don't be afraid to approach me with any questions or suggestions you have while we sit in a shieldwall together

Greetings, Defenders.

Today we will be going over all the changes in the community around Full Invasion 2.

If this isn't your thing, stay tuned next week for an update regarding balance and bosses. You can follow our ModDB page to receive notifications when we release new updates.

Please direct your eyes to our ModDB, Screenshot of the Week Contest, Upcoming Community Events, and finally to Ashley's inbox for all your questions, suggestions, or feedback on the mod. As always, let us know what you think in the comments below!

ModDB Design

If you've recently visited our ModDB page, you've noticed a complete overhaul on the theme. It has been designed exclusively for Full Invasion 2 to ensure our fans can enjoy a community experience above that of any other mod for Warband.

All the links you will need are conveniently located at the top of the page, so there’s no more digging required. The update bar will inform you quickly of any changes, events, or updates as soon as the information is available.

Further down, the comment section has been improved to make identifying developers and following comment chains much easier.

Please, let us know what you think about the new design — We are very interested to hear feedback.

Wave 53

Wave 53 Studios has taken over production of Full Invasion 2 to bring forth this next update. The team consists of developers who have worked on the mod in the past, but now with lots of new talent. Whether they come from a professional or self-taught background, every member of the team is passionate about making Full Invasion 2 the best that it can be.

If you feel that you have the skills to help us make Full Invasion 2 even better, apply today by contacting Ashley through ModDB or Steam. She will provide you with the information you need to pursue future employment.

Screenshot of the Week Contest

The Screenshot of the Week Contest is ongoing and open to everyone to be a part of. All you have to do is take an awesome screenshot in Full Invasion 2, send it to Ashley through ModDB or Steam with a title and description, and then be entered for prizes!

Every two months, the top three screenshots will each earn a free game on Steam. The winners will have a choice from over 100 titles sponsored personally by Ashley to the contest.

If you feel like thanking her for the generosity, you can do so on her ModDB profile.

Official Steam Group

The Official Steam Group is one of the best ways to get involved with the community (as you likely know already). Joining is simple, and once you do, you will receive notifications for new updates, community events, and will have a quick way to find people to play with.

Our Steam Group is also the place to post any suggestions for new factions, maps, or features. These topics are reviewed daily by the devs, so you might be responsible for something awesome in the future of Full Invasion 2.

Community Events

Alongside the release of Amber will be a much larger focus on community events and tournaments. These will range from cooperative invasions to brutal tournaments, even gladiatorial fights.

For now, we recommend checking out the ICA server every Saturday at 7 PM GMT. They host Invasion events where everyone gets involved. Developers and YouTubers often participate in these larger events, it’s a fantastic way to get to know people.

The Official Server has gone through an overhaul and I can now report it is much better to play on. Stop in and check it, we'll have some fun.

For all our EU players, we have plans to start an Official EU Server just for you guys. More information about this server will be shared once it is set up and configured.

Greetings, Defenders

This week's news update is about legendary weapons. We talk about how they are now, and what they need to be to make Full Invasion 2: Amber even better. New additions to the legendary roster are covered and there's even a small guessing game.

We also touch on the recent (and quite awesome) community event we hosted on the Official Server as well as announce how events will be handled in the future. As always, you can follow our ModDB to be notified directly of any updates.

Check out the latest update on ModDB!
