Recruting Nobles

Hey guys,

I've been trying to figure out how to recruit nobles, whilst not being affiliated to any faction.

As far as I understand, you have to have good relationships (haven't read something specific, just "relationships"). So far, I have 10 relationship with the Kingdom of Swadia, 5 with the Queen, 10 with the town of Praven as well as 4 Persuasion and I still cannot see the Recruit Nobles menu item for Praven.

Would anyone care to tell me exactly what I need to do to access the Noble recruitment for a faction, without actually being a Vassal for that faction ? (or owning a fief for that matter).

I think this is a vassals only option. I will check tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure you'd have to ally yourself. You could make a second save and try it out just to be sure.
