Black water bug

Whenever i move my camera down some parts of a river for example become black (no reflections effect)
Other notes: In the "non steam" version of the game this doesnt happen, it happens with every steam M&B game including WFAS
What I've tried
Turning on and off several graphics options
Installing directx through the installer in the game's folder
Verifying cache integrity
Reinstalling
Looking up
looking down

It has been fixed! the issue was caused by the overwolf overlay, making sure it wasnt running while playing fixed it
