he's not actually a 'hero' npc (the type with % health)
What happens if I click the "hero" tag in morph? will he become a full undying no conflicts companion on a new game?
I had him on my last game but he died 2nd fight

edit
I just gave him the "hero" tag, added him to player party and started a new game, he appears to be ok unless you wanna send him on the right to rule quest  (v strange dialogue but he disappears... simulated 1 month did not come back ) Otherwise he seems to behave like a real companion, you can change his equipment but he won't appear on companion list.

All companions are heroes, but not all heroes are companions. Lords, kings, etc are heroes too.

So no they will not show up on a companion list, or be treated as one, because they are not a companion regardless of the hero flag.

Cool, good to know. How did you add him directly to the player party?

Could it be? He secretly has the module system?

or he used MnbSaveGameEditor (just replace any troop on the player's party with the ID of that character): poof he joins your party

or write a trigger using Native and add to VC txt files, you do not need VC modules to write simple code like that

You're probably right. From Rarilmar's phrasing it seemed like he'd added him to player party before starting a new game, so I was curious.

I added him with morgh's editor to player starting party in parties.txt and started a new game just to see how he would behave.

Number of village recruits (2.012)

Backup scripts.txt then find the update_volunteer_troops_in_village -1 line. In that line you can find:

Minimum troops available:
2136 3 1224979098644774935 0 1224979098644774928
Maximum troops available with low relations:
2133 2 1224979098644774928 7

Huh, didn't know you could do that Rarilmar, cheers.

+1 all Women are whores in VC... my wife cheats on me every month

Just be careful with Morgh's it has a lot of errors with VC.. don't hit the save button if u hit the fields that give errors  I switched to MB Barracks Editor for some troop edits but that tool has it's own errors too

If you want to stop her cheating completely then change both the -40s to -0 and change the 1120 to 1104.

Another option is that you can change the 169 into 4, then there will only be a chance of her cheating if you've not talked to her in a month. Tested and this works.

Nice! The tweak to only cheat on you if you don't speak to her in a month seems ok. I was thinking it has to be something about the time since last visit because I've been with her every week in my last 4h of playing VC and she hasn't cheated. She also got pregnant so maybe that was a reason for her good behavior too.
She's also the "adventurous" type... well as a pagan with low reputation I didn't have much of a choice, I took the 1st one who said yes

Hi, is it possible to reduce building time for improvements in villages or castles? in tweakmb this option is grayed out, but maybe you can tweak smth another way?

The 20 is the base amount you get every village raid, change this to what you want.
Added to this is village prosperity (1-100) multiplied by 5. You can change that multiplier too.

To change the amount of goods you receive after raiding find this bit:
