IMO if you're going to do the vs betting thing, you should give everyone a weekly allowance too. Also how will the winnings be split? Does the house take a cut? How much?

Money bet + Secret Bet Multiplier + ( Total Amount of bets for the losing team / number of won bets )
The bet multiplier is a small reward for the amount of bet.
ex. A 500 gold bet will land 500 + 10 (The multiplier) + ( Total Amount of bets for the losing team / number of won bets)
