Problems launching Warband in Steam Offline mode

Since the latest update, I've been having problems launching Warband while Steam is in offline mode (what I mostly use when playing).

It takes about half a minute for the launcher (where you pick the mods) to appear after starting the game up. This only happens with Steam set to offline mode, and had not occurred at all before the most recent update (which was a while ago, but I only just got around to trying to fix this).

At a guess it looks like Steam integration issue. Not sure if the developers are aware of this, and I'd rather deal with the good folks at Taleworld than Steam support.

More importantly, is there any solution to this other than "don't play in offline mode or deal with waiting?"

It's not exactly the end of the world, but kind of annoying.

It took awhile for me too, in offline and in online mode. I dont usually play in offline mode, and i just tested it, and you're right about that, but it takes a bit for it to load in online as well. Maybe just the update?

Just got a stealth 20Mb patch from Steam.

Problem solved.
