best mod? well there are three best mods that i've ever played 1st one is 1429: Le Guerre De Cent Ans Steel Edition, 2nd Brytenwalda and the 3rd 1257 AD

Its a tie for me between PoP and Brytenwalda. Both have really well made settings, characters, and events. I enjoyed arch3rs original invasion mod much more than FI2, but it's still a decent amount of fun when the various fanboy groups aren't on.

My favorite is not on that list, so I put my second favorite. My first favorite is the original mount and blade's The Last Days lord of the rings mod. They converted it to multiplayer and with the warband feature's, its really good.
