Steam achievements?

Does this mod work with them?  Because I love the guns and cannons here, but there seems to be an issue with some of the achievements---easy ones like Sarrinidian Nights didn't unlock with this mod, but easily did with Native.  Other mods have had achievements unlock, and I haven't been receiving them with this one, but I've noticed that the kill-achievements (Kill 500, kill 5000) are going up while using this mod.

So is this a case of some mod files interfering with achievement unlocks, or am I just imagining this?


EDIT:  I unlocked one achievement just now, but one of the other easy ones isn't unlocking
