Questions on the Death Cam

I'm playing using a notebook and therefore I don't have a numpad. Is there any alternative to rotate the cam? Also, how do I change the horizontal level of the camera? Under current situation I'm basically unable to see anything once I'm dead, especially in siege battles where all people are on disparate levels.

Another question, once I'm dead(unconscious), by "retreat" does it mean to completely pull your troop out of the battle, or you could actually launch another wave of attack, just like in the original version?
