Problem hosting a commander battle

Whenever I host a commander battle in multiplayer mode, once I spawn in I get the sever message that I have been kicked from the server for cheating.
However, I am not kicked, but instead spawn naked.
I do not have this problem when joining a dedicated server.
I have the latest version of the game on Steam.

This is a common bug. From what I've seen there is nothing you can do. You can always rent a server though.

Do you do it via dedicated server package or from the game itself ?
When you host a commander battle by the game itself, do you get this error ?

It happens when hosting via the game itself.
The bug only seems to occur when hosting from the game itself.
I do not have the issue when joining a dedicated server.

I have no mods installed, and I have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, which has not worked.

Make sure your game is up to date, then try with the dedicated server package.
