---Cagliari siege scene bugged ( I fixed the siege scene on my pc, had to change it up a bit)

---Constable reports 0 soldiers in patrols even if you have patrols

---Garrison cap $ not working when player takes control of town garrison

---Breaking lords out of prisons is hit or miss; works sometimes

1)The western European settlement standard siege scene is bugged : Some of the defenders spraw in an internal  backyard which is not accessible to attackers nor the defenders can find a way out. The human player can go there only Jumping from a roof .... and obviously no one can follow him. The tower from where you jump is not accessible either for the troops... you are on your on...
2)If the human player conquers a castle or city then it is impossible to garrison troops except from taking control of the garrison suffering the relation penalty that it brings.. When the AI wins a siege there is , always , an amount of troops garrisoned immediately after and often substantial one too .... So you have a really hard time being the marshal of a realm. In vanila or in previous versions of 1257AD you could at least garrison some of the rescued troops after a siege...

Archers and crossbowmen (Not necessarily "throwing" units): Ranged combat can be bugged, especially during sieges: Main problem is that they stop firing and switch to melee even when the enemy is at a considerable range.

I know that there have been mentions of it just being "Warband mechanics", however, I don't think that's the case. I've played various 15th century mods and ACOK, and all of these mods have mechanics in which archers continue to fire until the enemy is at or in the "melee range" (Let's say 10 paces.)

That's not the case in 1257 AD. You have to position your archers some 30-40 paces away from the infantry conflict, meaning that your archers are always under threat of being flanked by cavalry because of the lack of infantry support or presence.

(Sorry if I seem like I'm presenting my case as a douchebag)

To stevehoos : Did you notice the siege bug of cities in Italy and central Europe, that I mentioned above ? I don't know if it goes for all western European cities because I hadn't enabled cheats since some time now ... It was really game breaking like the spraw in Byzantine cities when you fight in the streets and all your troops remain in the market yard . You have to do everything on your own ... The first one is the worst for me . It made me quit my current game.. I've reloaded Othr's last revision , to test .......

No I did not notice that, most of my playing has been in and around England. The siege scene for the Isle of Mann does not work correctly though. I fixed it myself for my own version, it needed some adjustments for defender positioning. I could post my fixed version to help Thomas out with some of the grunt work. If indeed there is a final patch for the final patch?

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if it was an installation problem or the fact that I'm using the last updated version of the test suv. Unfortunately the siege scenes are frequently buged . Some old problems were never resolved  even if reported . The main problem was that the devs didn't have time and/or will to actually play the game in the last development period . I can't blame them because they did already too much . Never the less the game still needs some debuging efforts......

Most of the problems with scenes - especially those that report spawning troops "over the walls" are due big battle-sizes by the player. Probably not all, but quite a good number. If the mod was on WSE, i would enforce the battle-size limit to 150 on siege scenes.

Thanks for the reply. In my case , I never use big battle sizes , rather medium. My problem is about my soldiers not being able to find their way up the stairs in Byzantine cities during the 2nd phase of the assault ( fight in the streets). Only the human player  goes up the others can't follow even when I order them to do so.
The other problem lies in Western european culture settlements (cities) of Italy and Balkans (under Hungarian rule). There there is an inter yard, where some of the defenders spraw, not accessible If not by jumping from a tower, after breaking an inner door and going up many stairs where no one else can follow you clamping. Nor the defenders can get out of there ...so the yard gets crowded with enemies that my guys can't reach and this doesn't permit enemies to respraw....  So basically you have to kill them with arrows until the last respraw and then you go up , you jump down , and you finish the rest of them... After some 10 times you don't want to repeat the same any more... ever ......

the reason why scenes are not fixed is because people say"in hungarian castle" or in "european city" or    London and such, but apart from some cities like Achen,London and few others, game generates the cities randomly on each start of a new game, what now is for instance Paris,on new start is Munchen

I'm referring to a standard that goes for all the cities situated on the area above mentioned in my current game... Every city siege scene is the same with the same bug . The ones that I remember are : Ancona, Napoli, Palermo, Roma and all the Hungarian cities .... Even if the city tipe is randomly assigned there is the one that is buged ..... The byzantine cities are all the same in any game any way ... I will be back with screenshots of the western ones......

Not more than 100 battle size
Could you please consider the byzantine cities bug. I haven't any picks... I'll try to get some if necessary although I'm a bit busy lately...

I think the archer shooting problem during siege is more serious and must be dealt with. And also there being no way to rescue captured lords. With these bugs fixed, this mod would be the greatest M&B mod to me.

Some horse archers do not belong to "horse archers" group and they don't comport us such : http://cloud-3.steampowered.com/ugc/432658080801033762/D5134608DD2F53797184DFF243FF9A9D8FC1DF11/
