Well, I do not have a certain piece of music in mind yet, but I think it must be something that starts off quick, or something that's catchy and worth waiting it out. I mean, I don't think people hang around for a long time in the main menu (or at least, I usually don't  :grin: )

Also, I'm sure that some fine TSFH will serve this purpose nicely :grin:

Anyway, I'll chew through some music and see if I can find something.

Updated OP with songs that I think have a shot at making it. This list is currently at 11 and i'd like to keep it at 10 to make the poll. So some will get kicked off, if new additions are suggested. Remember some of ones that have been suggested were not added to the list since they lacked usable rights. Also a lot of Two steps from Hell have been mentioned too. A few of those will probably get kicked off the list, since their are so many from one single band. (yes they might all be good in their own right but alas I sometimes have strange thinking  :cool:

If it were possible to get a copyright thingy ( :razz: ) , this song would be amazing for Perisno.
Mid-song to end-song it is more battle-themed with a good rhythm and quite exciting.
Towards the beginning more peaceful. Good contrast of travelling the world map etc to charging into battle.
OR have the songs been decided?

1) Two Steps From Hell - Strength Of An Empire

This song have a slow pace, but feels epic.


2) Two Steps From Hell - Return From Darkness

The pace of this song is faster than the pace of the first one. It manages to share a feeling of suspense, it builds tension and I cannot be sure of what exactly could be happening, a battle? a coronation? a triumph? The ending isn't nice though.

I'll go with option 2

Then i looked it up > http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cavedog_Entertainment
and saw they shut down in 2000. I think it would be save to add it to the list :smile:
 
I'm excited to see how this all plays out.

Music is often about those immersive moments, when you lose track of yourself, in the meat world, and find yourself transported to another world where you are fighting and avoiding dying, and a great sound track accompanies you on your adventure!

Am I the only one who thinks that most of these beauties should go into the game? :grin: I'm thinking mostly travel music, and some of them would be great in battles :grin:
