Nabbed this from the bay12 thread, but Starsector in a nutshell:
Randomly downloaded a game on Steam because it was free and it was suggested for me. Turns out that aside from the really fun TBS battles and watching my girly-faced character do a salute very similar to a nazi salute when ordering the firing of the vanguard cannon on my ship, its a harem game. Which just ends up getting a bit weird at times. Especially since the main character doesn't seem to actually be interested in sex... (minor spoilers)
You can't get a much girlish face than this. Although in his defence this is from Claude's PoV/imagination.
It is also very hard to take the villain seriously when he looks like an underfed teenage boy wearing a stupid mask.
This is the type of crazy
that you probably shouldn't
stick it into.
Aside from that scene, and a couple of other awkward/cringey moments, the rest of the game is pretty normal and enjoyable. That scene was pretty ****ing weird and oddly written. Two other characters enter the room, one makes absolutely no comment about what is going on but does interrupt it while the other one can't handle the sexiness and faints.
