Roster Rules
- Players and their IDs should be added to a roster prior to playing a match.
- If a player is on a roster but has not played for a team then they will be able to move to a different team.
- Should a player not be on a roster and play for a team, then then the player will be treated as a member of that team and will be added to their roster. If that player was already on another team's roster then the team and the player will face punishment, likely a ban for one week to a ban for the rest of the tournament, though that is down to the discretion of the admins.
- If a player moves from one team to another and has already played a match during the week then he cannot play another match of the same week for the other team.
- Teams may only play 2 or less players that are not currently on their roster in a match. Rounds in which more than 2 unregistered players have played for a team count as lost.
- Players may only switch team once during the tournament and they may only do this until Week 3 (Division A) or respectively Week 5 (Division B and C). After Week 3 or respectively Week 5 teams may only add players to their roster who have not played in the tournament. This rule also applies for the Knockout-Matches and Playoffs.
- If a player wants to join a team playing in a different Division (eg. Division B to Division A), then the restrictions regarding player transfers of the division he wishes to join apply.
Tournament Rules
- The WNL will have 3 different divisions. Each division will contain teams of a similar skill level. The admin team will use team's results and performances from the WNL and ECS in order to assign leagues unless we think the results don't reflect the strength of the teams at all.
- Division A and B will contain 8 teams, Division C has no limit on the number of participants.
- Division A consists of a Round Robin stage followed by a single elimination bracket containing the top 4 teams. The winner will be named “WNL Champions” and will receive the prize.
- Division B consists of only one stage and fixtures will be made using Round Robin.
- Division C consists of only one stage and fixtures will be made using Swiss System. This means that teams will be matched with opponents with the most similar record. This will be done first by points, then by matches won and then by round difference. However, two teams may not face each other twice on consecutive fixture weeks.
- In order to deal with the huge amount of teams and to make it easier for streamers to cover more matches, all divisions will have different deadlines. This means that the deadline for Division A matches is on Sunday, for Division B on Monday and for Division C on Tuesday.
- Teams are sorted in their divisions firstly by total points, secondly by round difference and thirdly by rounds won.
- Teams will be awarded 3 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.
- Factions and maps for the first stage of all divisions will be determined using a random number generator and they will all be selected in advance. Each fixtures will contain one open map and one closed map. For the 2nd stage of Division A and the playoffs each team will be able to choose one map from the complete map pool during a special Pick Night held on Monday. Teams can’t pick the same map twice (both in semi-finals and in the final). First pick will be given to the first seed in the knockout stage and the higher placed team in the playoffs. Factions will be preselected, as in the first stage.
- Division A will last for 7 weeks, followed by the single elimination bracket lasting for another 2 weeks. Both the semi-finals and the final will have to be played on Sunday.
- Divisions B and C will last for 7 weeks as well.
- After stage 1 is complete we will enter both knockout stage and the playoff stage. In week 1 of the playoffs the following matches will be played; 6th place of Division B vs 3rd place of Division C, 5th place of Division B vs 4th place of Division C, 2nd place of Division B vs 7th place of Division A and 1st place of Division C vs 3rd place of Division B. The loser of the match between the Winner of C and 3rd of B will be placed in Division B. The winner of the match will face 6th place of Division A in week 2 of the playoffs. The loser of this match will be placed in Division B and the winner into A. All matches have to be on any day other than Sunday.

- The WNL will be using referees. Referees will be mandatory for Division A and in the knockout and playoff stages of the tournament. During the regular season referees will also be available on request for Division B and C. Should you wish to have a referee help you organise your match or attend your fixture then contact Folms with your request. Should a streamer wish to have a referee present to ensure quick restarts then they may also request one attend. Referees that are not assigned to a particular match may choose to attend matches of their choice.
Behaviour Rules
- Players must be respectful and polite to their opponents on both server and WNL board. If teams repeatedly show a poor attitude and display rudeness they will be punished by the tournament admins on case-by-case basis.
- Modifying any texture files, excluding modified crosshairs, in order to gain an advantage is strictly prohibited. Any player or team that is found to have modified textures in order to gain an advantage will immediately be banned from the tournament.
- Players that attempt to utilize any kind of autoblock, aimbot or any other game modification that gives them an advantage will be immediately banned from the tournament.
- Should admins receive repeated complains about a team wasting time, the team will be investigated and could face punishment, decided on case-by-case basis. This includes waiting for lengthy times between sets and map swaps, being extremely difficult to schedule with and other problems.
- All rules written down in this section apply to any activity occurring on the WNL server, no matter whether it is for example a training match or an official match. Everyone who misbehaves on a WNL server might face punishment decided on case-by-case basis.
Match Rules
- All matches must be played on dedicated "WNL_" servers. Make sure both teams agree to play on a particular server before booking the server.
- The standard match server for matches between North American and European teams in WNL_France. However, rules regarding match servers may be changed by a referee in some situations.
- Combat Speed: Medium, Friendly Fire %100, Round Time: 240 seconds, Game Type: Battle, Re-spawn time: 8 sec, Gold: All set to %100, Camera: team member’s view, forced MoF spawn on 2 minutes.
- Both teams have 15 minutes to gather their players on the booked server and begin the match. If a team fails to turn up 15 minutes after the scheduled match time then the team present has to contact an admin immediately. They may be awarded a default wins as soon as a tournament admins declares the team a no show. If you have problems starting your match make sure to contact a referee.
- Every match will be 16 rounds long and will have 2 maps. For each map 8 rounds will be played. After 4 rounds, spawns and factions will be switched.
- Teams may field up to 8 players. This number can be increased if both teams agree. Teams with less than 8 players may play on or forfeit the match. The other team is under no obligation to match the other team's numbers. If a team fails to turn up with at least 5 players 15 minutes after the agreed start, the other team has to contact an admin or referee immediately and may be awarded with a default win.
- If a team fails to turn up with at least 5 players for the first time, they will be given a warning, for the second time they will be deducted three points and for the third time they will be kicked from the tournament.
- Spectators are allowed unless one team wants to play without spectators. This rule doesn't apply to tournament admins, referee and streamers.
- Substitutions are only allowed between each set, though team are not obligated to wait more than 10 minutes between maps and 5 minutes between sets. If a player crashes on game, substitutions can be done after the round has ended though this is limited to one substitution. If a team makes unauthorized substitutions during a set, the relevant rounds count as lost.
- During the knockout and playoff stage of the tournament matches may not end in draws. Should the match be a draw after the final round has been played then teams have to play a tiebreaker.
- The tiebreaker has to be played on Winterburg, each team choose their faction (without restrictions). The tiebreaker is a first to five. The first team that wins five rounds wins the tiebreaker and thus the match. The standard match size for tiebreakers is 8v8 unless both teams agree to play with more or less players.
- If both teams agree, the standard tiebreaker method can be replaced by a first to 7 duel. Should they opt to do this then it must be done on the arena map and the fight must take place in the central circle. Players may buy whatever equipment they want to though the gold must remain at 1000.
- All matches are eligible for live-streaming and recording. Streamers and Channels do not need to get permission in order to stream matches, though they should contact the relevant teams in advance of the match and notify them. If for whatever reason teams do not wish their match to be streamed they may contact an event admin for a decision.
