Oldest Regiment

As shotgun says. We disbanded 1 or 2 years ago. But another group of players has taken on the name.

I'm sure other regiments carried on after Waterloo, but I can't even remember who was in charge of them all back then.
 
It's too bad I missed the glory that was MM. Only came on the last week before NW, and served with the pubs.
 
Simple, look at the different creation date of each Steam Groups of each regiments you suspect to be the oldest.
Concerning the 84e, its been created on the October 3rd 2010.

92nd Gordon Highlanders, September, 28th 2010
84e Régiment D'infanterie De Ligne, October 3rd 2010
1er Regiment de Grenadiers de la Garde Imperiale, November 2nd 2010

(The 51st hasn't been found, the 91st seemed innactive, I thought they were reformed but eh).

I'm not sure since on the 84e Calendar, we've the regiment birthday on the October 26th 2010.

1stEPI was founded on 11th of December 2010.
 
77y were formed somewhere in march-april 2011 i believe. Semenovsky regiment was formed in early december 2010 tho :eek:
