So, for the last two months or so, for 70% of the time, the Ektor you see in this forum has actually been using his mother's laptop.  My computer's internet is borked bad, it shows up as connected but nothing loads, it goes "no internet access" or "limited connectivity" randomly, it works for five minutes after I turn on the computer, does all kinds of ****.
I've tried a billion different things, from buying a new wireless adapter for my computer, to restoring the computer to before it had problems, restoring winsock, changing DNS (I've configure my house's modem to use OpenDNS cause Brazilian DNS servers suck more than our electrical installations), etc etc etc, nothing ****ing works.
I'm considering buying an external HD, clearing my pc and re-installing Windows 7 just to see if it works, but a external HD is well over 200 Reais, I'm looking here as a last hope, really, since some of you guys are pretty savvy with computers and all.

Booted the other computer up and pinged it, all the packages were sent and returned with a ping of 0 miliseconds. Will wait for its internet to crash to ping again and see what it says.

EDIT: Internet just crashed and results didn't change.

In command prompt can you do ipconfig /all and then show us the output. (right click > mark, press enter to copy). Both before and after the internet goes off please.

It might be worth re-installing the wireless drivers, I suggest finding the model and downloading them from the manufacturers website first. Then go into device manager, find the wireless adaptor > right click, uninstall. Then install the drivers you downloaded.

Do you have other wireless devices connecting to the same wireless network? and if so do any of those devices have the same problem? or do the problems with your laptop arise when another device connects?

Other two. All are fine but my computer. I've reinstalled the drivers twice.

Here how it's right now:

In short, your connection works fine for 5 min and then goes down? Have you checked it works if you use it with a wire?

Just to be safe, do any test with EVERY other device using the network disconnected. I spent a week going crazy with my router and it just happened that, somehow, my father's laptop with Vista () was making the router to restart every minute if it was connected.

My laptop gets the blue screen of death if I try to connect to Internet through my sister's Lumia. But if I connect through my niece's iPhone, it works smoothly. I have no idea why that is. Just goes to show, sometimes it's not your machine, but something else that causes problems.

I shifted the computer to a spot where the signal is stronger and it's been much better. Connection's been weird again but now it's for the whole house so this is kind of solved.
