The group stages will be the prelude to the knockout stage, there will be around four groups with four nations in. Two teams will advance from each group stage into the knockout stage, leaving us with eight teams. To determine placements within the groups, matches will be played via round robin style. This will ensure that every team will play against each other in fair and interesting conditions; this however means that groups A - C will require an extra week. If you have any questions regarding this then please send me a PM, add one of the tournament admins on steam (information is in the Rules thread). Maps such as Winterburg and Province are to be played only if a draw occurs.

I'll be using last years rankings to sort the teams into groups of four, with any teams not fitting into the 16 being in a separate group at the bottom. Teams that did not take part last year will be put at the bottom. Currently the groups look like this:
