•Due to the nature of the tournament, matches may not end in draws. Should the match be a draw after the final round has been played then teams may opt to use one of the following tie-breaker methods:
◦Replay the final round until one team wins twice in a row.
◦Fight a 3rd tie-breaker map. Should the teams be unable to decide the map/factions then they may contact an admin to make the decision.
◦Have a player from each team fight a first to 7 duel. Should they opt to do this then it must be done on the arena map and the fight must take place in the central circle. Players may buy whatever equipment they want to though the gold must remain at 1000.
•If the teams are unable to select one option then the default method is the following:
◦Each team selects 1 round to replay. The teams then replay the two rounds until one team wins two in a row. For example: Team A selects Spawn 1 on Vendetta. The teams then fight a single round with Team A playing as the Spawn 1 faction. Team B then selects spawn 2 on Ruins. The teams then fight a single round with Team B playing as Spawn 2. The teams refight these 2 rounds until one team has won 2 in a row. The team that wins two in a row is declared the winner of the match.

There should be primary that second one, it was such a drama because this in ECS and it finished in postopned deadline.

Just wanted to ask about the same thing...
Also I think the option for the duels if a draw is something what shouldn't be in any leagues or tournaments, like NC, only in the duel ones...It is not a win of a team.

Agreed.

It also raises issues over the legitimacy of one win over the other; if one team wins a match by winning a duel and another through a tie-breaker map then they've won in different ways under different rule sets. The same tiebreaker method should be used across all matches to retain consistency in the rule-set.

I don't think I'll have the time to captain a Canadian team this year, but I'll ask around a bit and see if a team can be formed nonetheless!

I would say that being able to participate in a nation's cup team should be based on the passport you possess. Yes, we have some lucky multi-nationalities out there yes, but if you possess a passport of a nation, you can call yourself a part of that nation (even though you do not currently reside there). This system is used in most official tournaments in general and is, in my eyes at least, the best combination of fair and simple.

Also, if you do not mind, Belgium and Netherlands will once again play as one union in relation to the lack of active Belgian players. And come on, you don't want to bar LeRoux from the NC!
