Weirdness on Google Chrome

Okay, so I clearly clicked something I wasn't supposed to, but I can't figure what that something was. My mouse functions are all wonky. Clicking on links opens them in new tabs by default, and scrolling with the mouse wheel zooms instead of scrolls. Any idea what I did?

Pretty certain it's not, my control key is pretty clackity and doesn't appear to be stuck.

Just tap all the ctrl/alt/shift keys around a few times anyways. The drivers can get confused a bit and think one of the keys is down even when it isn't.

Restarting my computer fixed it, but I never did find out what caused it in the first place

Well, obviously Chrome thought ctrl was pressed down, since you described its functions. Happens.
