Sound effect bug

Hi there. Whenever im playing and for example I shoot a gun, there is either no sound or the sound effect for the gun shot is very quiet. If anyone knows what is wrong id like some help. Also It was fine a couple months ago then i recently reinstalled it and its been messed up since.

I have a similar issue, all I hear is characters talking in game and the constant clash of swords. No gun or cannon sound effects.
