You guys are really thinking of some good ideas here

There was a very big dev team argument about that topic (which resulted in a member being kicked off the team for not being able to cooperate or agree with anyone else). We've decided that there will not be a good vs evil theme but rather your actions will define who you are and no faction "must" be evil. There could be a power hungry faction though led by a power hungry leader. Thats perfectly normal.Abot said:Would you be interested in a sort of 'evil', Mordor-esque faction (not a Mordor-esque in the sense of its army which needs to stick to the realistic medieval theme, but in the sense of its evil and/or power-hungry nature and hostility towards other factions)?
Although I do realize that this would then introduce a 'good vs. evil' element into Perisno which may not be desired.
Something unusual said:Yeah I'm hoping we will get something together soon. There are also a lot of ideas boiling in my head but I'm not sure what to do just yet. Currently I'm just waiting to see what other people can come up with
Added lore section.Abot said:Grenady
Faction Leader: King Charles VIII
Faction Troops: An extensive and balanced troop tree consisting of a little of everything and a bit more based off of real-life medieval troops. (Not actual troop names, just a sort of template)
> Pavise Crossbowman
> Grenadian Crossbowman > Dismounted Feudal Knight > Dismounted Grenadian Knight
> Peasant Archer > Mounted Spear Infantry > Feudal Knight > Grenadian Knight
Town Militia > Spear Militia > Spear Infantry > Heavy Spear Infantry
> Halberd Militia
> Halberd Infantry
Faction Lore: Grenady arose under Charles VII in 328. Charles was a minister of the Old Hakkon Empire who took advantage of the corruption and insecurity running through the administration of Emperor Comrey II to recruit a number of nobles and advisors to join his cause. By 331 he had gained enough support to split from the Hakkon Empire completely. Although growth was slow for Grenady, it was steady throughout his rule. In his later years, Chales VII taught his son all about being a leader in hopes that he could continue the newly founded state. Chales VIII took the throne after his father's death in 354.
Ah, I forgot to update the lore. Gonna do that now.Abot said:Note: I am not sure how much this may conflict with the Zann Empire as the lore does not mention anything besides that they seem to be a Chinese/Mongolian hybrid.
