This is a mod I've been working on for the past couple of weeks, inspired by the many mods all you guys have been churning out since I started playing M&B a few weeks ago

-----Description-----
The Land of Elysia is not what it once was. Where peace and tranquility reigned in days of yore, war and strife ravage the grassy fields and wooded hills of this forsaken place.
Once, the land was ruled by the Kings of Elysia, wise and noble men all, who gave their lives for the embetterment of their people, and the prosperity of the Counties. King Thoranos the IX, upon visiting the trade city of Cors, was assassinated. An investigation took place, revealing the assassin to be in the pay of the governor of Cors. For this, the man was hanged, though not without price - for, without a King, the anger of the Corsic people could not be assuaged, and war quickly broke out between the Elysian Kingdom and the new-formed Corsic Republic. Soon, the pressure of this war on the Elyssians caused the dead King's brother, Duke Bril of Dorn, to rebel against the rule of the state-appointed regeant. Elysia was now surrounded by enemies, fighting on all sides in a desperate attempt to regain control over the lands lost to the nation, though all efforts proved futile. Soon, the Elysian government split, one faction siding with the Duke of Mirel, the other with the King's family.
It was not long before, in the face of such adversity, the Elysian remnant crumbled, and was forced to retreat into the woods protected by the King's men. With Elysia defeated, Mirel turns its gaze upon the Corsic Rebels, who still threaten the Duke Randolph's position from the west. The Dornese, struggling to survive in the cold, harsh climate they had been forced into long ago, still strike out at the remnants of the Elysian Kingdom. Elysia itself has named a new ruler, Adonidas, the young nephew of the dead King Thoranos, the son of Duke Randolph, who remained with the King's family against his father's wishes. From the south, the peaceful Frejians, fleeing the Sea Raiders who have destroyed their lands in the icy plateaus of Midgard, have discovered this Broken Land - however, instead of the help they sought, they have received hatred and mistrust from many of the inhabitants of Elysia, finding friends only amongst the Elysian Patriots and the Dornese Horselords.
War has broken out on all borders, and the people are suffering. As a result, banditry is at an all-time high, and no innocent citizen is safe without an army behind his or her back. To make matters worse, rumours of a strange group of people emerging from the northern deserts have arisen, causing fright amongst those who have no hope of defending themselves.
Apart from all of this conflict is the Free City of Zendar, of which you are an inhabitant. You feel the need to break the chains of your past and create your own destiny - yet what destiny will you pick for yourself?
In a land of war, the possibilities are endless.
