Ok, I've decided to announce the mod I'm currently planning and working on. :)

My plan for this mod is to make something kind of like the Underworld movies, except based in the medival era.


I plan to include three different Classes.

Vampires. (may call them Lamia, meaning vampire in latin)

Werewolves. (may call them lycan)

Human/Slayers


EFFECTS AND SPECIALTIES OF EACH FRACTION

VAMPIRES
If possible I intend to make them powerful during the night and weaker during the day.

Instead of conventional food, they will have to attack villages to feed, and maybe fill their wineskins.

Vampires will mainly be Swordsman, and Crossbowmen. Mounted Troop will mainly ride Heavy armoured Jet Black horses.

The Vampires will have very little villages, mainly housing in castles.

I'll attempt to make the heart area a critcal hit much like the head, but make it harder to hit then a headshot.

Biting Unsuspecting Recruits will Expand your troops

(new) Origional Vampires, (not bitten recruits) will have a different Advancement tree (still in planning)

Werewolves

Much like the vampire, I intend to make the werewolves run on a cycle.
I'll attempt to add a lunar cycle to the time and date.

During full moons the werewolves are the strongest fraction.
Full moon lasting for around 2-3 nights.

When no full moon is present, the werewolves are human, but yet savage, rough, unkept.
I doubt ill allow mounts for them, but instead on full moons they can run as fast as, say a sumpter.

Like the Vampires, they will rely on the human victims for nourishment.

But instead they will take prisioners and butcher into meats, like u could with your horse in prevous versions.
 
Werewolves will mainly rely on claws, some swords and spears, and bows.

They will mainly house in villages designed as caves, mountians, and forests.

Biting of unsuspecting recruits so to speak will make your troops grow.



Human (peasents)

Practically the pawns in this game, They will stand and fight when they have no other choice, or if you piss them off too much from eating their children. :?


Mainly farming tools for peasents.

Ive been told of a burning torch able to be carried from a different mod, I may need to include it when they storm a vampire castle.


Slayers


The Slayers will be your best friend or your worst nightmares, depending on what you are.

The slayers will bemainly hunting the Lycan and Lamia.

They will be powerfully equipt, with tools of relinquishing the lives of the beasts.

From silver tipped Xbow bolts, Swords blessed with holy water, to your good ol' wooden stake.





Tell me what your thoughts are, I'm open to suggestions.

Ill add more later i gotta go right now! :D

Nice.  Awhile ago I was thinking about something like this but thats as far as I got since I have another project I am working on and I wanted the armor to be like the armor in Underworld Evolution and I am not that good of a modeler.

Novice Slayer --- > Hunter --- > Veteran Hunter --- > Witch Hunter --- > Master Hunter --- > Inquisitor  ( Ranged )
                        --- > Slayer --- > Veteran Slayer --- > Master Slayer --- > Ghoul Slayer --- > Vampire Slayer --- > Inquisitor dismounted Knight ( Infantry )
                                                                                                                  --- > Wolf Slayer --- > WereWolf Slayer --- >Inquisitor Elite Rider ( Mounted )

Here is a suggestion for the WereWolf and Vampire.
They should be able to bite the prisoners to grow in number.

looks cool, but I think perhaps the vampires should be less... humanlike, I think they should travel in singular groups with hosts of cultists or like semi vampires or something, perhaps the fluff for your mad could state that reall bloodline vampires are like uberpeople, wereas the ones bitten by other vampires are just moderatly better than humans, it seems stupid to have vempiric armie's sorry, although the humans should have some kind of army besides slayers, although they would only be defensive not offensive at all.

Yeah, i agree with you Nethoras, Vampire should be Leader, not only simple soldier. They should be humans and Ghouls.

I believe if you look in module_items, there is already a torch (better still, a working torch). All you need to do is make it sellable by merchants. :wink:
