Overview
Honour Bound is a mature multi-gaming community made up of like minded gamers. In the past our clan had a strong competitive focus and we strived to build a competitive roster that could compete with the best. Presently we are more focused on building up a strong and healthy community to enjoy playing games together. However we still have strong competitive tendencies and are fully capable of throwing together a capable competitive team for any game, given more numbers.
Currently the most played games in our community are, Mount & Blade: Warband, League of Legends, and Counter Strike: GO, however a lot of our members jump around a lot to play various other games and we have events planned for the coming future.
Note that the clan will be centered around community first and foremost. While the success of game projects are important, games come and go. The community however is the heart of people’s experiences. Regardless of what project people are apart of, they are affected by those we decide to hang out with.
What We Expect
We expect our members to be respectful towards each other and the rest of the community. Members that constantly “troll” or harass other players will not be tolerated and will be removed from our community. We expect our members to be active, if not in Warband then at least on the forums or in Teamspeak.
Note that clan mates are under no obligation to solely play with our clan. While it is obviously preferred to play with the clan when you can, we need to understand that people had friends before they came here and will continue to make them long after. So long as people aren’t constantly working against their own clan, people need to be allowed to roam a bit. That said, evidence that players are trashing their clan or being constant catalyst of clan unrest may be grounds for removal.
Our expectations are much more strict during competitive play. The now and again “trolling” on public servers may be overlooked. However, during competitive play, we expect a show of utmost professionalism from our members. No team killing, no “trolling,” and no rude commentary. This relates to official tournaments as well as friendly pick up scrims.
Recruitment Info
Honour Bound’s recruitment has changed drastically from what it used to be. We no longer recruit people based on skill. Skill will only determine whether or not you’re on the HB community’s competitive team once you are in the clan. We recruit based on exposure. If you come off as being fun to hang out with and stick around teamspeak for more than a couple days, you have a very good chance of getting in.
Join Teamspeak, sign up on the forums, and hang out with us for a bit, if we like you then we’ll offer you an invite to join. The more we interact with you, the better the chance you have at joining us. If you only swing by once or twice, don’t expect an invite. All of our members are regulars in our teamspeak and swing by at least once a week, and a lot of us are on daily; usually later at night.

Teamspeak is a requirement as it is our only means of finding out whether you’re a good fit for our community or not.
We have a loose age limit of 18+ as that is the average age for our members, though we recruit more based on maturity than actual age.
We aren’t just looking for members for a scrim team, we are looking for people to be part of a tight community. That said, we are a very easy going group of people, but we will not be afraid to turn you away if we think that you will never be ready or if we don’t believe that you can fulfil or adhere to the expectations that define our community.
The best way of getting noticed is to hop in our teamspeak or you can contact one of our members through steam. Forums are officially up, anyone is welcome to register and post.
