Additional Comments:
We're very interested by this and would love to attend, though we hope it won't clash with already standing NW events. If we could get the date ASAP, we could clear a spot. And as for numbers, we're unsure for the moment.
I'm sure we'd all agree to miss a NW event for this. Change of things.
This'll also be edited to add/remove those who will be attending, so not final - yet.
Also willing to give leading a try, though I'm ready to step down due to inexperience as stated in the main post.

Sounds good! I like that you've made it so that it'll be a completely different experience compared to the big events. Just two shieldwalls clashing, right? I like the concept.

Not signing up until you guys announce the date, of course. I wonder if not announcing it yet was a little test to know if people read the whole thing.

Yeah, I'll be signing up Fir Áraig members as a clan (depending on numbers I'll probably split them), however 42nd Regiment of Foot members will have to sign up as individuals.

Although I won't be able to attend often, this calls for a celebration!
Let's hope the turnout will be good on June 2nd. Hurray!

Huzzah, the days of glory and blood have returned! Time to put those heathen pigs down and fight as true Englishmen!

Each team will be made up of basic infantry, one or more dedicated archers and a Host Leader who will lead his side to victory or defeat. A banner-man may be chosen by the Host Leader at the time of the event. Players must take only Infantry and not Archer or Leader Class unless told to do so.

I imagine this means Swurdberend and Verðir will also be allocated by the host leaders, but the wording of the last sentence leaves the door open for people picking special infantry rather than playing as Garberend and Liðar.

I would like to apply the Vaeringja to this. I'll see how many people I will be able to gather, though.
Oh, and we would like to be Nordmenn.

I see alot of you celebrating this but none of you actually signing up. Saying "I'll be there!" is not, I repeat not a sign up.

You must use the sign up method thank you. Failing to do so and turning up will mean you may not attend in future Events. If you wish to just wait in the "Empty Slots Channel" then please say so.

I'm sorry Potato Power, but again the format has been ignored.

It really is not that difficult, folks Just copy and paste. It may not seem needed, but it makes admin, control of numbers and people alot easier. When admins come to this to see the signed up names it's easily noticed by the distinct format used and not "I'll sign up!" hidden amongst useless other words.
