I am glad to announce a new Thursday linebattle, hosted by the 3rd Foot Guards and the 91st Highlanders, we hope to make a rather excellent event with plenty of competitive regiments.

Rules are rather standard, 1 skirm/light regiment allowed per team, 1 cavalry and plenty of lovely lines for that intense action that we all know and love.
Limits are also pretty normal, 16 for skirmishers and cavalry. None for line infantry but if you are above 30 men we would recommend you to split into 2 lines, but it is by no means mandatory.

Firing in the charge is indeed allowed but if you reload in the charge then....god help your soul. So just to sum up.

Line Infantry-Minimum of 10 men, no maximum. Anything beyond 30 recommended to split into two lines.

Light Infantry & Skirmishers. One slot for one per team, only one light or one skirmisher regiment allowed.
However, skirmishers(95th) are allowed 16 men whilst light infantry (51st) are allowed up to 20. Minimum of 10.[size=8pt]1

Cavalry. All classes allowed, one slot per team and maximum of 16 men. Dragoons must fire in a line, may not dismount to skirmish. If dismounted must act as a line. Minimum of 10.

General rules.

-Firing in the charge is allowed.
-No firing out of formation excepting skirmishers.
-Please try to avoid officer aiming.2
-Be as friendly as you can.
-No Engineers.
-Any unit with 3 men or less must join the nearest line.
-Rambo's will be slayed if they do not appear to be making their way to a line (after a warning)
-No cross map charges.3
-Don't hide in rocks or exploit in similiar ways.
-Only skirmishers/light infantry may crouch.

Oh and remember, don't delay! Fight today!

Oh and we aim to use custom maps quite frequently, but forgive us if now and then we have to 'randomise' so to speak.
