Stamina on world map?

Chasing an army on the world map which is travelling faster than you means you never can catch them.... fair enough but sometimes if you persevere they will stop for no apparent reason.

I thought it would be good to have some kind of party stamina so if your stamina runs out you have to wait for it to increase before you can move off. This would give you the opportunity to catch these speedier armies.

Maybe if your tracking skill is high enough you can see how much stamina they have left and thus whether you can catch them or not.

Having to stop to recharge your stamina could be annoying.... unless there was the ability sprint which = faster movement but stamina reduces.

The rate at which stamina decreases could be linked to the average of your party's strength or some other skill and more expensive food could also reduce the rate of decrease.
 
Very good idea. Some sort of stamina meter would make long forays into enemy territory a little more risky. Maybe have it so that at 100% stamina you have no penalties till say 50%, then get a couple points taken off your map speed. Maybe at low levels like 10 or 20% get a level taken off your tactical advantage, or a point off all your troops strength or something.
