Medieval music (especially real) that can play in battle

I often listen to medieval music, especially real or realistic (that's to say no movies' soundtracks or whatever), when I play to Warband and other medieval games such as Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, and I am sure I am not the only one. What's more, I am looking for music that I can use for the previews of my mod.

But not all medieval music is good for that. Having songs such as Ay, Santa Maria (Spain, late 13th century) playing when you are beheading guys and crushing peasants is weird. The musics have to be enough dynamic and not too joyful.
I created this topic so that we can share medieval music good for combat.

So here what I have for the moment:

PS: You are not compelled to post only real medieval music, you can also post music of movies or modern bands such as Corvus Corax as long as it sounds not too fancy/modern (I mean no Matrix soundtrack or whatever).

Very nice. I have something similar for playing Battlefield 3, as in a set of music that goes well. Techno/dubstep and such.

This is great for Warband though. Reminds me of the Old Steel Music Mod for .751 that I use to use.

An attempt in recreating ancient Germanic music from around the migration period and dark ages:

Wooow, I only found this now, but I highly appreciate this kind of music, as well.

Since you people are still around and since this is highly relevant to my interests, here, allow me. I'm using these on my personal mod, so I'll share both campaign and battle music. I can't believe we are covering nearly the same tastes, from time period, while avoiding "sacred" music and maintaining melodic variance.

Although I selected the most pleasing and varied to modern ears, they're still not that pseudo epic/metal stuff you see in the games, movies and mainstream music, which are completely uninformed and inappropriate and are mostly modern (pre)constructions.

These are (neo)medieval and (neo)folk. Actually, most of them are (some of the best) recreations and interpretations of real medieval music.  So, enjoy my friends (:

Capella de Ministrers, La (Good ensemble/band. Too much to say about these works, but they were italian-ish songs that survived 'till today)
  Saltarello II http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOAPDRr7Eg0
Lamento di Tristano, La Rotta http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CxWV_BD0vQg
  Kalenda Maya http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZpuzb6cbJU

  Laude Novella http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFRc6Y_4A7c

Estampie (Famous band with some pseudo songs)
Trotto (from teh same set as the saltarellas/saltarelli) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I4AFdEP1KwY

Jordi Savall (major early musician)
Cantigas de Santa Maria 248 (songs probably from a "Spaniard" King himself (Iberian kings made music themselves during this time). There are a lot more, just look for Cantigas de Santa Maria) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATC44nm04UY

As ffroles do meu amigo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnq2If_TWZY
  Vayamos, irmana, vayamos dormir
These are Iberian songs as swell, but don't mistake them with Spanish. During this time, there we're many Iberian Kingdoms. These belong to the Portuguese-galaic branch which was the language of the poets that led to Portuguese. This is why they say that Portuguese is the language of poets and bards, because this language was developed by them. Even in that time it was considered the prefered language for music in the Iberian courts before the rise of Castilian, which led to Spanish...

Douce Dame Jolie (very famous romantic song from the 14h century, unfortunately, most of these artists have a mediocre french accent, let alone the real thing...)

What a pitty, this artist has been known in France thanks to his talents in medieval music, and now that he has money and notoriety, he makes this useless remake of this silly serie's music title instead of popularizing unfairly unknown real medieval songs:

Nice site, thanks!

@Al Mansur: You are right, many of those talented artists cheapen their quality for money. It is pride as well as committment by their channeling deals. Big channels like Vevo, Machinima and such do contracts with them and they are not free until completion. So, most tend to make videos cheap, quick and with low quality(not in resolution ). It's a shame, really, especially when the artist is talented, like you say.

Latin

Stella splendens in monte
ut solis radium

exaudi populum

English - Bright star

A bright star miraculously
shining on the mountain
like sunshine.
Hark the mass
assembling,
all people rejoicing,
the rich and the poor,
the greatest and the pettiest,
are gathering as well
as we are self-witnessing,
let’s all herald once more
this: Hail Mary
