The Game: There will be 3 rounds on 2 maps, and 1 tie breaker round if necessary.
Rules/regulations:
Generic Rules:
-Officers/NCOs are responsible for enforcing rules among their units. Failure to abide by the rules will result in the regiment's removal from the event
-If one side has less than four soldiers alive the rules regulating the action can be ignored to result in a timely end of the round.
-Players delaying the end of the game will be slain.
Infantry and Skirmishers:
-Lines of more than 12 soldiers must fight in two ranks.
-Skirmisher units may never exceed 15 soldiers.
-Soldiers may only fire their muskets while in a properly spaced line formation or when behind cover such as fences or walls.
-Infantry should have less than 1 space between them
-Light Infantry (skirmisher w/ bayonet) may have 3 spaces between them
-Riflemen may have up to 5 spaces between them
-Skirmishers may crouch at any time, but Infantry may only crouch if they are in the front of a two (or more) rank line.
-If only 2 men remain in a line, they must immediately join a friendly line OR charge directly toward their enemy into melee
Cavalry:
-Cavalry units may never exceed 15 soldiers.
-Cavalry may fire muskets from horseback.
-Unhorsed/dismounted Cavalry are considered Light Infantry.
Engineers:
Are highly restricted, and will rarely be allowed except for artillery
Artillery:
-Each faction is allowed 3 guns (cannon, howitzer, or mortar). 2 rockets count as 1 gun.
-Each gun can have a crew of 3 Artillerymen and 2-5 Bodyguards.
-Artillery Bodyguards may choose Infantry, Skirmisher, or Engineer classes, but must obey Light Infantry spacing rules.
Under no circumstances may any individual fire their weapon inside of a melee, or while charging save for dragoons.
