Welcome back, Mount and Musket! We wish to play you again, your holiness!

Thanks to a most successful event on Monday, the 28th of January, we now established a permanent, yet unofficial, line battle event for Mount and Musket. Let the Nostalgia commence. Until we are able to maintain a full two-hundred slot server of our own, we will be using the Rddt_MM_Server for the events. A special thanks to Rddt Brigade for doing this and making our events happen. The events are on Mondays (Dates will be listed) at 8pm Eastern. The event will start with a fifteen minute pre-battle training for pubs, and for other regiments that need the time. The first map change will be a random large map around 8:15pm Eastern.

Rules of the Event

Some changes are taking effect, since our first event was more or less a test run. Here is the new set of rules for the event:

There's still a good number of slots open, albeit the specialized slots are already taken. I'd like to thank JD for agreeing to organize the pubs, and the Redditori for allowing us to use their server for this first event.

If you plan on having your regiment attend, please, please make sure they all have MM downloaded and, preferably, have played on the Makeshift_MM_Server a bit in order to get used to the Mod's melee combat. Don't have your men wait until the last second to download the Mod!

I know it's already placed on the original post, but here is the link to download MM Russia 3:
So far, with nearly a week to go until the event, things are looking very positive in regards to attendance and enthusiasm. I invite all of you to attend, regardless of whether or not your regiment will be officially attending.

Hello,

I want to personally thank all of you on behalf of the Marins de la Garde Imperiale who attended our event tonight as well the Rddt for hosting the server, and wish for them to continue to do so. Without them, this event would not have been possible. We had a great time playing with everyone, and we hope to see you at future LB's. I am going to be converting this thread into an "Official" event thread. There are going to be lots of changes. Even though tonight was our first event, it was in fact, a test event. We know now what to allow, and what not to allow. We know what we have to change, and what not to change.

Once again, I want to thank you all for attending. It was great fun, and we hope to see you in the future.
